Rental Policy

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By utilizing Rentzkart services, you agree to comply with the guidelines outline below.

Core Responsibility & Care

  • The Lessee assumes complete ownership and caretaking responsibility for all rented merchandise, equipment, vehicles, or appliances during the booking window.

  • In the unfortunate event of loss, theft, cosmetic damage, or operational malfunction due to improper handling, the Lessee agrees to pay the full replacement value of the product to Rentzkart.

  • Rented assets must be returned promptly at the end of the rental term in the identical condition in which they were originally dispatched and received.

  • Upon return, all items undergo rigorous technical and cosmetic inspection. Any missing accessories or required repairs will be charged at current market rates and invoiced to the Lessee.

Rental Duration & Late Returns

  • Rental periods are calculated strictly on a 24-hour cycle. Any extension past the agreed return window shifts the booking into a new day's charge.

  • A full-day rental fee is applicable even for partial-day usage. Prorated refunds for early returns are not permitted.

  • Lessees are expected to pay the regular daily rate for every single day the rented assets remain in their possession up until the physical return is finalized.

Identity Verification & KYC

  • Lessees may be required to submit original identity verification credentials (such as Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving License, or Passport) to secure the booking.

  • All submitted identity credentials will be safely securely retained and returned immediately upon receipt of the rental assets in pristine condition.

  • Rentzkart strictly requires digital/photocopy confirmation of customer credentials during identity verification before confirming or dispatching any delivery.

  • The minimum eligible age to place bookings or sign rental agreements is 18 years. Rentzkart reserves the right to deny service at its sole discretion.

Cancellations & Refund Policies

  • Cancellation requests registered between 24 hours to 5 days prior to the booking start date are eligible for a 95% refund of the total booking value (retaining a 5% handling fee).

  • Cancellation requests submitted within 24 hours of the rental start date are non-refundable.

  • For early return of equipment mid-rental, a 24-hour advance written notice is mandatory to stop billing for subsequent days. Failure to provide notice renders early cancellation ineligible for refunds.

Delivery & Fulfillment Details

  • Fulfillment services are actively operational within select pin-codes across the Tricity region (Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali, Zirakpur).

  • The estimated delivery or pickup slot operates within a 2-hour buffer window around the selected booking time slot.

  • While we make absolute efforts to present high-fidelity visuals of our rental catalog, actual items may differ slightly in color, version, or cosmetic trim from website depictions.

Terms Enforcement & Liability

Any violation of the terms set forth in this Rental Policy will result in immediate termination of current booking services, forfeiture of security deposits, and potential suspension of the user profile from Rentzkart.

Rentzkart Services Pvt Ltd. is not liable for any physical injury, property damage, or loss of life associated with the use of rented equipment.
